Learning objectives

Upon completing the course, the student will know and understand the bases of an historical perspective in medicine and will be able to apply an
history-based approach to the study of diseases, treatments, medical organizations or biographies of physicians/scientists.

- The scientific revolution of medicine: the 19th century
- A protagonist: Rudolf Virchow
- The 20th century: the molecular medicine, the impact of globalization, the rise and downfall of the universalistic systems
- From "health dream" to the "health tiramny"

Interactive oral lessons with the support of iconographic material and the involvement of experts in the field. The material discussed during the
lessons will be available on the Elly platform.

Short presentation (10-15 slides). English preferred.
The subject must be pertinent and is chosen by the student.
