Integrated course unit module: IMMUNOLOGY AND GENERAL PATHOLOGY

Learning objectives

The aim of the course is to make the student able to know and understand the main immunological mechanism that are the basis of several diseases, to make a acorrect diagnosis and to do the possible differential diagnosis. At the end of the course the student is able to apply the knowledge acquired about the principal autoimmune and allergic diseses.

Physiology, Morphology

Course unit content

The porpouse of the study is to described the physiopathology of the most important immuno-mediated diseases. In particular, example of diseases based on tipe I,II,III, IV hypersensitivity.

Teaching methods

In the context of frontal lessons will be introduced and debated some clinical example of diseases of immune system.
