Learning objectives
The student must have acquired the necessary elements to know the fundamental syndrome of surgical interest and the main specific diseases that determine them, elaborate diagnostic hypotheses and possess diagnostic-differential capabilities. He must also have learned the general principles of surgical therapy and the specific treatments of the major pathologies.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and general pathology; Semeiotic knowledge and clinical methodology in general surgery.

The fundamental surgical interest syndromes and the main specific diseases that determine them, with particular reference to acute pathologies and critical situations
