Integrated course unit module: DISEASES OF THE LOCOMOTOR APPARATUS

Learning objectives

At the end of the course the student will be able to
understand the main manual and instrumental techniques used in rehabilitation and postsurgical rehabilitation programs
The student will also acquire an appropriate technical language

Will be explain manual and instrumental rehabilitative techniques and postsurgical rehabilitation programs

Full programme

Instrumental Physiotherapy: thermotherapy, endogenous hyperthermia, cryotherapy, electrotherapy, Tens, C.diadinamiche, laser therapy, magnetic therapy, deep Osillation, Cryoultrasound Therapy, shock waves. Major rehabilitation methods: passive Kinesiotherapy - assisted - active, and occupational therapy, mechano therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, massage therapy. Post surgery Rehabilitation programs. Rehabilitation in the chronic-degenerative and traumatic diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Teaching methods

Lectures will be carried out with the aid of oral presentations, slides and interactive involvement of the student according to the timetable defined at the beginning of academic year
