Learning objectives
The goal of the training, intended for small groups, is to enable the student to acquire knowledge and understanding about the main laboratory processes for the morphological and cultural study of bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses, and their in vitro susceptibility to antimicrobial and antiviral drugs.

Illustration of the main laboratory procedures for studying morphology and cultivation of bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses, and their in vitro susceptibility to antimicrobial and antiviral drugs. Observation of microscopic specimens and cultures of bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses.

Interactive educational activity and practice in the laboratory.
Assessment methods and criteria
Learning outcome will be verified as part of the oral examination of the course of Microbiology, to which refer for assessment methods. Questions concerning training activity will be used to verify the student’s knowledge and understanding in the field.
