The second-cycle degree program in "Economics and Management of Sustainable Food Environment" is designed to promote the dialogue between the economic-management culture and food technologies, which is a vital element in the promotion and sustainable management of food production.
The course takes advantage of the know-how and specialization in agribusiness of the University of Parma and the local companies, thus creating a unique pool of knowledge and experience within the European agribusiness landscape together with a growing appreciation of quality food culture and production.

The course trains professionals needed to meet the strong demand for interdisciplinary skills in the food management sector, particularly SMEs and cooperatives, which play a central role in the Italian agrifood industry and in the sustainability of territories.
Graduates will work in companies that are part of supply chains (short and long) and seek to be competitive thanks to the quality of their products, the ability to manage supply chains and the sustainability of the business model.
