Projects

Research activities within the neuroscience groups at the University of Parma are driven by multidisciplinary projects funded through national and international grants, both individual and collaborative, involving partnerships with other research groups. These approaches integrate neurophysiology, neuroimaging, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies to investigate the brain and behavior.

The research spans various topics, including human and animal behavior, brain plasticity, the neural bases of action and perception, social interaction and empathy, and neuroscientific applications for rehabilitation and mental health. These studies contribute to a deeper understanding of cognitive and motor mechanisms, with significant clinical and technological implications.
