During the Orienteering activities of the area of interest, in the presence of animals admitted to the University Veterinary Hospital and to the Department, clinical issues will be discussed by referring to diagnostic investigations and data interpretation of the most common pathologies affecting respiratory, gastrointestinal, cutaneous, cardiovascular, nervous , endocrine and metabolic systems in companion animals and livestock undergoing clinical consultations and admitted to the University Veterinary Hospital of the Veterinary Medicine Department. The student is also strongly invited to analyse automously the clinical case considered and the related pathology referring to the recommended texts and to the most recent literature.
The study of clinical cases with a problem solving approach would provide the possibility for students to test their own competences and professional skills learned during the course of the years.
