Teaching methods

During the Orienteering activities of the area of interest, in the presence of animals admitted to the University Veterinary Hospital and to the Department, clinical issues will be discussed by referring to diagnostic investigations and data interpretation of the main pathologies affecting the reproductive tract, management of pregnancy and puerperium in different species (i.e dog, cat, cow, horse, sheep and goats). The student is also strongly invited to analyse automously the clinical case considered and the related pathology referring to the recommended texts.
The study of clinical cases with a problem solving approach would provide students the possibility to test their own competences and professional skills learned during the course of the years.

Assessment methods and criteria

The verification of the expected results described by D1-D2 and D3 indicators for practice learning occurs with the certification of attendance and competences.
