Integrated course unit module: GENERAL AND INORGANIC CHEMISTRY AND LABORATORY

Learning objectives

To initiate the students to the safety measures of a chemical laboratory - To furnish the adeguate skills for: - the identification of inorganic chemicals and their reactivty as well as the ability of conducting simple inorganic reactions - to prepare standard solutions of inorganic compounds - to carry out volumetric titrations for the determination of the concentration of water solutions - to predict the solubility in water of inorganic compounds - to be able to fill a laboratory book properly
