Learning objectives

Students will be asked to apply the theoretical notions studied, by producing a simple edition of a small text.

Course unit content

"Critical and genetic edition of contemporary works". The course wants to analyse the literary text as the result of a process that led to its establhisment, emphasising the dinamic aspect of literary production. The different theoretical approaches will be studied as well as the different methods used to render the genesis of a literary work in a critical edition. To this end, some of the more interesting cases in Portuguese literature will be analysed.
