Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge on certain topics and authors of Spanish literature with precise analysis and interpretations of linguistically complex texts. For authors and selected works, the student will learn a:-consolidate their knowledge of literary texts and identify the features: stylistic constants, content report-form, adaptation to literary genre, etc.-bibliographic information (paper and digital), as well as on the subject matter, even on new issues-demonstrate its capacity for analysis, synthesis and evaluation of the proposed separate frameworks and thematically complex topics-expose their knowledge in Spanishwith coherence, logic and appropriate language to the problems faced, demonstrating a skill that corresponds to the language proficiency level C1-develop learning and skills acquired during the course of analysis, so they are also usable in other contexts and in stand-alone form.

Course unit content
The course, held in Spanish, will offer to students the opportunity to deepen the knowledge previously acquired both in the literary and linguistic language. The first part of the lessons will be devoted to the twentieth century and, in particular, to the rediscovery and valorization of Luis de Góngora proposed by the generation of 27. Constant reference point will be the critical studies of Dámaso Alonso to whom we owe the first interpretation and translation of this Baroque poet. The second part will focus on the ways that will be analyzed and interpreted – according to Alonso and other critics – from various viewpoints (metric, rhetorical, lexical, etc.) so as to make it evident, along with complex text polysemy, the evolution from the Renaissance to Baroque style. Annotated works lesson will be promptly clarified in their meaning, with explication of the multiplicity of their mythological, historical references, etc.; also, enhanced diversification, identified sinonimica referrals-the basis of metaphors, etc. The critical framework will therefore always accompanied by careful reading and analysis of texts.
As commented in class student will be integrated with the study of essays, that complete his education on this issue and on other methodologically relevant, that to be listed by the teacher and made available at the conclusion of the course, both on the website and in paper version at the headquarters of the foreign languages and literatures.

With regard to the historical-literary approach: Oreste Macrí, Studi ispanici, Liguori, Napoli, vol. I: I critici (Spanish LiteratureLetteratura). More references will be provided during the course and will be listed in the exam program.
Teaching methods
During the lectures, held in Spanish, the teacher will use reference bibliography of course, but also of more paper materials (or visual) to interpret the authors and texts dealt with highlighting the different and complex levels of reading. The course will be integrated with multi-voice interventions on specific themes complement each other with the aim of offering a multiplicity of perspectives that lead to a more complex reading of texts and to a wider grading that follow also the diffusion processes. The student will be encouraged to broaden their knowledge of landscape, to develop a mechanism for reflection and dialogue to verify its understanding and interpretation.
Assessment methods and criteria
Verification of knowledge and skills is through the oral examination in Spanish language. The knowledge and skills that you want to verify are:
-knowledge of the works and their characteristics analyzed, tested concretely as the author's own and as an expression of the literary period.
-ability to study independently, find information, decode complex classic texts, and rework and expose the topics covered during the course expressed in mature way.
-level of linguistic competence (comprehension and expression) corresponding to a level C1.
Failure assessment is determined by lack, demonstrated by the student in the oral test, to express themselves appropriately, inability to solve problems related to information retrieval and the decoding of classical texts. An adequate evaluation (from 18 to 23/30) is determined by the student demonstration of learning so mature course content; have attained a linguistic understanding capacity corresponding to the level C1; to possess a sufficient level of capacity and preparation of bibliographic information retrieval. Average scores are awarded to the student who can prove that they have a more than adequate (24 and 25/30) or good (26 and 27/30) evaluation indicators listed above. The highest scores (from 28 to 30 and 30/30 cum laude) are awarded when the student demonstrates a very good o excellent level of evaluation indicators.
