Learning objectives

The course focuses on building the business plan for both new businesses and for existing businesses. To this purpose, the course aims to provide students with the institutions and the tools necessary to learn the techniques to be used for the preparation of the business plan. The teaching consists of lectures and individual assistance in the preparation of the plan. Each student must engage in original case of start-up or a real business case for development in the domestic market and foreign market. At the end of the course, each student should have learned the ability to set up a business plan and to assess the economic and financial feasibility in order to directly carry out entrepreneurial activity and evaluate business decisions to submit a valid request for funding of the project company.

Prerequisites

The course is recommended for students of the first year of "Laurea Magistrale" in Firm Administration and Management.

Course unit content

The course is divided into two parts. The first part consists of classroom lessons, in which, after brief mentions on strategic management and its formalization in business plans, describes the structure and purpose of the different types of plans. Each type of plan is reviewed on its own merits. The second part of the course is dedicated to the development of the individual report for BP according to the structure shown in the lectures. In this part. each student maintains continuous contact with the teacher.

The teaching consists of lectures and the individual elaboration of a business plan.

Assessment methods and criteria

Learning evaluation will be based on a written test of institutional and individual sull'elaborato the business plan.

Other information

The institutional lessons are provided in the first module of the first semester. The educational activities will continue in the second part of the second half to draw individual plan.
