Below are the following topics, intended to merge, even under the guidance of professors outside of the LSF, in the final dissertation.
1) Urban planning and territorial protected areas within the Apennine
or study and the design of the landscape: the design of agricultural peri-urban areas: the design of landscape units, the planning and design of environmental continuity and cycling
o The design of river parks: the urban park of the streams Parma and Baganza
o Protection and revitalization of depressed mountain areas with sustainable development policies (See Action Cost c27: http://www.cost-c27.eu/)
2) Planning for town centers
o The Oltretorrente of Parma and the distribution of commercial activities
or reconstruction of the old town of Navelli (L'Aquila)
3) History of the city's urban planning and development
Case studies in small towns or minor
o The city of Parma: historical evolution and scenarios for the future city
o The Town and Country Planning in Russia: the case of Ekaterinburg
4) Planning and urban design and sustainable development
Recovery or conversion of large urban and industrial areas
or redevelopment of public spaces with incentives for pedestrian mobility
o Planning of services: construction of a map of the quality of housing and urban liveability
o The vulnerability of urban settlements, with attention to landslide risk
Environmentally Responsible Design or industrial areas
o Design of sustainable agro-urban settlements (Agripolia)
