The enrolment procedure is exclusively online and can be carried out from the home page of the University's website www.unipr.it under "Iscrizioni On line" (www.unipr.it/iscrizioni).
The choice of curricula must be made when submitting the programme of study (from November 2022)
APPLICATION FOR PRE-ENROLMENT TO GRADUATE COURSES
A student enrolled in a first-cycle degree course in the academic year 2021-2022 who intends to graduate within that academic year and continue their studies in a Second-cycle degree course, must submit an online pre-enrolment application by 21 October 2022. Following this pre-enrolment, the undergraduate student is admitted to attend the second-cycle degree course units as an auditor student. A pre-enrolled student may not acquire ECTS credits from the second-cycle degree course until he or she has obtained the degree. To activate this position, the undergraduate student is required to pay a non-refundable €50 pre-enrolment fee.
Upon graduation, the student may finalise enrolment in the Second-cycle degree course by paying tuition fees. Payment and subsequent enrolment must be made, under penalty of forfeiture, by 31 March 2023.
For the years following the first, enrolments can be made from 5 September to 11 November 2022.

PART TIME enrolment

Since the 2015-2016 academic year, the figure of the part-time student has been introduced at the University of Parma.

Access requirements

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In order to be admitted to the Second-cycle degree course, it is necessary to hold a university degree or a first cycle university diploma, or another qualification obtained abroad and recognised as suitable. Enrolment with educational debts is not permitted.
Admission requires the possession of curricular requirements and an adequate personal background, demonstrating basic knowledge in the mathematical, physical, chemical and biological disciplines and knowledge of English at B1 level. The curricular requirements are:
a) possession of a degree in Class L-13 (Biology) and L-32 (Environmental Sciences) or b) possession of another degree certificate in the field of science with a minimum number of 60 University Educational Credits (ECTS credits) distributed as follows
- at least 18 ECTS credits in total in the fields of FIS, MAT, CHIM and
- at least 20 ECTS credits in the fields of BIO and
- at least 22 ECTS credits in total in at least one of the following fields: BIO, AGR/05, AGR/07, AGR/11, AGR/17, VET/01, VET/02;
- B1-level language proficiency
The suitability of the qualification requirements under b) is subject to the approval of the Course Council. Details on the curricular requirements can be found in the Course Regulations.

(c) not permitted for those who do not meet the requirements set out in (a) or (b). In such a case, the student concerned may also request a prior opinion from the Commission appointed by the Course Council, which may indicate the course units to be followed and the examinations to be passed in order to make up the curricular deficiencies and subsequently enrol in the Second-cycle degree course in question.
CRITERIA FOR THE ALLOCATION OF SPECIFIC CURRICULAR INTEGRATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT BEFORE ENROLMENT
The Commission will assess the educational deficiencies with respect to the indicators referred to in point (b), indicating to the student the areas in which he/she is most lacking and any courses of the first cycle degree course to be taken in order to acquire a sufficient preparation to allow enrolment in the Second-cycle degree course.
ADMISSION TO THE SECOND-CYCLE DEGREE
Admission to the Second-cycle degree course is in any case subject not only to the possession of the predetermined curricular requirements, but also to the verification of the adequacy of personal preparation, which will be carried out through the analysis of the curriculum, which may be followed by an interview, according to the methods, criteria and procedures established by the regulations of the Degree Course and published on the Degree Course website.
