Thesis/Final examination

The aim of the preparatory work for the final examination is to train the undergraduate student, under the guidance of a lecturer, to analyse and master a topic relevant to Materials Science concerning the experience carried out in research laboratories or in industries or public bodies, including the traineeship activity, to present the salient aspects in a written paper, possibly in English, to present and discuss it publicly with clarity, mastery and critical sense.
In the final examination, the undergraduate student must be able to analyse a topic relevant to Materials Science, present its salient aspects in a written paper, and present and discuss it publicly with clarity and mastery. After approving the dissertation, the Degree Committee shall proceed to award marks in hundredths.
