Course unit content
Title: Music and the scene in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth century.
The course studies the european music in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth century between opera and public scenes. Will be proposed and studied exemples and critical essays on different musical genres that have shaped the modern concept of music as expression of passions. The course teachs analytical and interpretive skills in listening to historical music.
