Course unit content

 The course will elucidate the thirty-years research about <The Good Teacher>, that is teacher education and recruitment programs, the false dilemma on reforming school system vs teaching education, and reconstruct the conditions, wich are social, economical, pedagogical and epistemological, that currently undermine international experiences of teacher's professionalization. Over all the course will analize the moral dimension of teaching as profession and outline the specific changes that schools of education must make if they want prepare and develop resourceful and innovative teachers. The reneval of teacher education goes hand to hand with making a <New lliance> between researches and practitionners.
