The course will explore the theme of risk management and of financial problems linked to lending management. In particular, the course aims to provide students with the theoretical and practical ability to manage problems and the financial requirements generated by business activity in the short term. <br />

Course unit content
The course will explore the theme of risk management linked to commercial relations. The analysis will concentrate on examining business data with the aim of evaluating the financial requirements which arise from cash lending cycles. A careful evaluation of the covering techniques used in the process of quantifying requirements, with direct reference to different types of financial products, will be developed in parallel. The use of factoring (selling accounts receivable), as well as other instruments, will be explored by analysing their characteristics and an evaluation comparison of the impact that these produce on management. The course will include classroom exercises and case studies. <br />
