Learning objectives
The course has been designed to guide the student in analysing the natural elements and human factors in the population of the Earth.
Course unit content
#Course title: Man and his surroundings

After having analysed the effects produced on a regional and global scale of the current accelerated rate of population growth and increasingly intense and often irrational use of the surface area of our planet and its resources, the course will examine the relationship between man and his environment from a diachronic and synchronic perspective, as well as the multiple effects produced by man in the construction of his surroundings on Earth.

The course will be supplemented with exercises in topographic map reading and day, and longer, field trips in the area.
