Learning objectives
The workshop educational activities are designed to teach techniques of restoration, conservation and consolidation, by means of analytical and design studies applied to a real building. Operational experience will be combined with work on theoretical aspects, and with experimental research on restoration project design.

Course unit content
Theory and history of restoration, statistical analysis of historical buildings, and theory of building consolidation. Exercises include a project for the restoration of a building
