The course will critically analyse how journalism is divided into various specialised sectors (daily newspapers, periodicals, radio, television, internet) with a range of responsibilities: editors, senior editors, editors-in-chief, reporters, correspondents, commentators, critics, photojournalists, copy editors. Areas of specialisation that have evolved through the course of journalistic history itself. These responsibilities are diversified on the basis of a range of sectors and themes of interest (local, national and international news, judicial, investigations, news specials, culture, science, entertainment, sport) and various target audiences of the journalistic product: including daily papers and news weeklies, “womens” magazines, periodicals for children, satire, special inserts on arts and leisure. Participation of a number of professionals in a range of specialisations has been planned.
