<p>GENETIC IMPROVEMENT <br />
The activity of animal production recording. Additive and not additive relationship.</p>
<p>The genetic value and the genetic base. Estimate of genetic value in breeders (pedigree index, performance test, sib test, progeny test, BLUP-Animal Model).</p>
<p>Direct and indirect selection; multiple trait selection; genetic progress; stud books; cross breeding and inbreeding.</p>

Horse genetic improvement. Selection objectives and genetic evaluation in the main horse breeds in Italy.</p>
