Learning objectives
At the end of the class, the student is expected to know: - methods and tools that psychology and related disciplines, such as neuroscience, adopt for the study of emotions; the relationships between emotions and cognitive processes; - how emotional contents of stimuli, or emotional state, influence perception, attention, learning, memory, and decision-making; - the cognitive mechanisms of normal and pathological emotion regulation.

Teaching methods
The course includes the blanded mode with the following characteristics: 50% lectures, and the rest through video-lessons.
Assessment methods and criteria
written exam with 3 open questions. Exam duration 2 hours. Each question will contribute equally to the total evaluation (10 points each).
