Learning objectives
The experience deriving from the elaboration of an experimental thesis with originality characteristics, both of a compilation and an experimental nature, allows the student to apply the competences acquired in the training course and to demonstrate autonomy of judgment, learning skills and communication skills
Prerequisites
To begin the activities related to the thesis work the student must have acquired at least 180 credits.
The student must contact the teacher that will be his supervisor directly and give him the "Tesi entry form", duly completed and signed.
The experimental thesis work carried out in other universities or in external, public or private, Italian or foreign institutions necessarily requires the authorization of the CCdS. Furthermore, for the carrying out of the experimental activities it is necessary to stipulate an agreement between the external bodies and UNIPR (if not already in place), preparatory to the drafting of the specific training project.
For these obligations the student must contact the Head of the CCdS and subsequently with the U.O. Careers and Student Services to have access to the forms.
Course unit content
The preparatory activity to the final dissertation (“prova finale”) consists in performing a set of experimental activities within a research laboratory in academic or a private institution in Italy or abroad, agreed and supervised by a teacher (professor or researcher) with a teaching assignment in one of the Pharmaceutical Area Study Courses, who acts as a speaker.
The foreign structures are identified as part of Erasmus projects, Overworld or projects related to the European ULLA Consortium (European University Consortium for Pharmaceutical Sciences) or bilateral agreements.
At the end of the planned experimental work, the graduating student will write a thesis reporting the activities carried out under the guidance of the supervisor. The graduating student must make available a copy of the thesis to the Examining Committee to be admitted to the final dissertation.
