Learning objectives

The student should achieve a complete knowledge of the main gastrointestinal disorders, from the physiopathology of the disease to the clinical presentation, diagnostic workup and bases of medical and surgical therapy. It is also required knowledge of the main endoscopic techniques and notions related to other techniques necessary for the study of the digestive tract (ultrasound, X-rays, CT, MRI). Basic knowledge of pathological anatomy of gastrointestinal diseases.

Prerequisites

The student must have passed the exams of Human Anatomy and Physiology
