Learning objectives
Students learn language useful for their field of study and working in the fields of pharmacy and chemistry. The focus is on writing skills and speaking skills in specific areas: writing information material and giving academic presentations.

Assessment methods and criteria
For attending students: assessment in two parts; one written text to be handed in during the course and an oral test consisting of a presentation.
For non-attending students: Written test on texts similar to those used during the course.
