Learning objectives
The aim of the course is that of examining the neurophysiological and neuropsychological aspects of some complex brain functions
Course unit content
Introduction to the main disciplines (neurophysiology, psychophysiology, neurology, neurosychology) investigating the relation between physiological processes and behavior. Brief description of the main recent techniquesfor the study of human brain (neuroimaging, MEG, etc.). Neurophysiological and neuropsychological mechanisms of praxis, learning and memory, phylogenetic, ontogentic and neuropsychological aspects of language, emotions, brain plasticity.
