Studying Law in Parma gives you the opportunity to obtain a quality education oriented towards various professional horizons, including international ones, in a Department of Excellence committed to the Food for Future (F4F) project. You will have constant direct contact with lecturers, acquire solid legal, logical, IT and business skills, take part in the resolution of practical cases in line with the most modern requirements of society, which is experiencing increasingly rapid changes. The course of study is within the Department of Law, Political and International Studies - selected by the MUR (Ministry of University and Research) among the Departments of Excellence for the five-year period 2023-2027.
After graduation

In addition to the classic legal professions such as lawyer, magistrate, notary, you will have access to other roles in any sector: professions connected with the business world (legal, commercial, human resources management, labour consultant); jobs in banks and credit institutions; jobs in the most senior positions in the public administration (managerial, prefectural, military, police, independent authorities); journalism; roles in international organisations, trade unions, non-profit organisations and sports clubs; diplomatic and consular careers.
You will be guided through these possibilities from the third year onwards, and will have access to internships, for which CFUs are awarded, in companies, banks, professional firms and public offices. A PhD course and various postgraduate courses are available in our Department.
