The three-year PhD course in "Drug Sciences" is provided by the Department of Food and Drug of the University of Parma.
The course provides multidisciplinary training with contributions from different sectors, mainly in the chemical and biological areas, with a prevalence of the chemical-pharmaceutical, technological-pharmaceutical, pharmacological, biochemical and bio-organic chemical sectors.
The central theme that brings together the different disciplines and methodologies is drug research, which requires the training of PhD students capable of producing innovation and introducing new knowledge in the field of design, production and control of drugs and health products, as well as their interactions with biological substrates.
