Bachelor’s degrees for the health professions, in the following classes: L/SNT1, L/SNT2, L/SNT3, L/SNT4.

Diplomas obtained on the basis of the previous legislation of the members of the health professions referred to in DM 509/99 and referred to in February 26, 1999 n. 42 and 10 August 2000 n. 251, considered valid, pursuant to art. 10 of the Law of January 8, 2002 n 1, for access to Master’s and other Courses activated by the University, provided they hold the Diploma of Five-Year Maturity obtained in Italy or, by title obtained abroad, after at least 12 years of schooling.

Methods of implementation
The lessons related to the lessons will be delivered online (synchronous). Meetings may be scheduled in presence also accessible remotely in synchronous mode.
Educational content

1. Introduction to research: the origins of research in the health professions, inductive approach and approach
deductive. The role of the healthcare professional in research.
2. The literature review. Concept of practice based on evidence of effectiveness, formulation of the question of
research through the PICO and PICOS method, SPIDER, knowledge of the main scientific databases and
research string construction. Construction of PRISMA; tools for critical evaluation of articles.
3. Ethics, ethics and legislation: Ethics and research, health research legislation, Ethics Committee.
4. Quantitative approach: Experimental, quasi-experimental and non-experimental drawings. Questionnaires and
survey.
5. Qualitative approach: Phenomenological, ethnographic, Grounded Theory research designs, narrative and analysis
case studies. Qualitative data collection tools: participant observation, focus group and semi-structured and in-depth interview. Analysis and interpretation of qualitative data. Dissemination of qualitative results.
6. Notes on the mixed method.
7. Systematic reviews of qualitative studies (metasynthesis).

Professional profile

The course aims to prepare a professional expert in the research of literature and the best evidence of effectiveness available and in the design and conduct of research studies, in particular with a qualitative approach, as well as the writing of scientific articles.

The new skills developed during the training course are aimed at accompanying and supporting the choices and decisions necessary to maintain a high level of quality in care, also with a view to effectiveness, efficiency and personalization of care.
