The list of courses in the programme of study represents the set of training activities that can be envisaged for each of the years of which the course of study consists and changes according to the year in which the student enrols. The programme of study can be found in the Prospectus for your year of enrolment.

The programme of study must be submitted online by the student for each year using the ESSE3 system.
During the academic year there are two compilation windows: one in November and one in March for any changes.
These dates will be communicated by e-mail and posted on the website advertisements.
Students are allowed to submit their own study plan with options other than those presented on this page (and available in ESSE3), as long as it is consistent with achieving the course's educational objectives. In that case, the plan must be submitted to the Course Council for approval.

Students who wish to propose an individual study plan must submit an application to the Council of Studies in Mathematics using the form provided.
The proposal, adequately justified, must in any case comply with the general constraints described in detail in the Degree Order. The Academic Office is available to clarify any doubts and help with the drafting of the proposal.
The proposal will be evaluated by the Teaching Committee and submitted to the Course Council for approval. If approved, the individual study plan will be uploaded online by the University Student Registry Office.

As of the 2015-2016 academic year, it is possible to enrol on a PART-TIME basis.

Part-time means the possibility, at the time of enrolment or during the subsequent academic years of enrolment, to agree on a course of study with a number of university ECTS credits equal to 50% of the number of credits per year.

A part-time student is a student enrolling or enrolling in regular years of study who, for work, health or personal reasons, is unable to devote himself or herself to full-time studies;

this category includes:

• working students and student workers with a contract (subordinate, self-employed or professional) lasting no less than six months;
• students with a disability equal to or greater than 45% or certified disability pursuant to art. 3, paragraph 1, of Law 104/92;
• students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD);
• students not occasionally involved in the care and assistance of non-self-sufficient relatives pursuant to Law 104/92;
• pregnant students;
• students with children up to three years of age;
• students involved in sporting activities at a high national or international level.

The Academic Authorities reserve the right to carefully consider very exceptional or special requests not included in the above categories.

Students enrolled in the Mathematics degree course must take two English language proficiency examinations (levels B1 and B2) in the second year of the degree course. They can decide to anticipate the B1-level aptitude or both in the first year.

REPLACEMENT CERTIFICATIONS FOR THE LINGUISTIC

Aptitude Test With regard to recognised International Language Certifications, for the purposes of exemption from the Language Aptitude Test, please refer to this page.

ATTENTION: from 6 June 2019, the level attested by the certificate issued following the INVALSI test taken in the last year of high school is also recognised for the purposes of exemption from the Language Aptitude Test.

ENGLISH COURSES FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIFIC LEARNING DISORDERS

Starting in January 2022, English courses for students with Specific Learning Disorders, organised by the University Language Centre and aimed at achieving B1 or B2 level language proficiency, will start again.
