-to familiarize with the technical basis of the main imaging techniques
-to achieve the basics of conventional radiography, CT, MR, ultrasound for the main disorders
-to apply the basics and appropriateness criteria of the main tools of diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy in the clinical and surgical settings
-to read and understand a radiological report

- Technical basis of the diagnostic imaging (conventional radiography, computed ttomography, magnetic resonance, angiography, ultrasonography), nucelar medicine and radiotherapy
-Basic knowledge of radioprotection for both radiologists and patients
-Basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional imaging of the main disorders
-Indications and appropriateness of the diagnostic investigations

Teaching methods
Students will be attending the main diagnostic, neucelar medicine, a dn radiotherapy rooms to understand the clinical practice activity and apply the informtion achieved through thee course lectures
Assessment methods and criteria
A final oral test based on the interpretation of clinical cases to verify if the students can apply their knowledge
