The student has the possibility of following the slow historical evolution from art to science of constructions, seen with specific reference to the contribution given by Galileo and other scholars.

The student will acquire specific abilities aimed at the understanding of the relation between art and science of construction and to the development of the architectural and structural design of a building.

Assessment methods and criteria
The single module has no autonomous judgment, but the learning assessment will be made altogether in the final exam of the Final Synthesis Laboratory, which is oral and consists of an oral qualifying examination.
