Learning objectives

The module aims to acquire applicative skills in the assessment of energy requirements of buildings. At the end of the course the student will know the main issues of building energy requirements regulations and the main tools for assessing the energy performance of buildings.
Skills:
The student should be able to face a study aimed at evaluating the enegetic performance of buildings.
Autonomy of judgment:
The student must have the tools to critically evaluate design solutions for improving the energy performance of buildings.
The student must have the ability to clearly and with language ownership the procedure adopted in the assessment of the enegetic performance of the buildings in the light of the standard regualtion requirements.
