Learning objectives

The course aims to provide basic traning of Administrative Law to students, as future operators of Social Services, will have to deal daily with public administrations.

Course unit content

The first series of lectures provides basics notions but necessary to the study and understanding of this field of law. The basic concepts related to the study of the evolution of administrative law, the analysis of internal sources and community, the illustration and the constitutional principles of public administration as well as the fundamental principles of administrative and differentforms of explanation thereof. The second seriesof lectures is devoted to discussion of the peculiar institution of administrative law such as administrative powers and its exercise, forms of self-defense. The third series of lectures is dedicated to the analysis of issues of particular relevance.

Teaching methods

The teaching will be carried out not only lectures, but also through interactive teaching together with the analysis of the most important and recent judgments useful to the complete knowledgeof the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria

The Learning and the degree of preparation is checked by written examinationwith multiple choice quizzes on the arguments put forward and discussed in class.
