Learning objectives
The Applied computer science course aims at promoting the knowledge of procedures and methods to make a profitable and rational use of softwares. These competences, if weel organized, can be a basis for an enhanced P
productivity.
Prerequisites
Being able to read and write in Italian.
Course unit content
Principles and tools of apllied computer science. Models as basis for an appropriate use of procedures and softwares.
Full programme
Operative systems, folders in Windows, saving and storing data.
Word and style sheets. Writing a report on a theme assigned by the teacher. Cells, formules and procedures in Excel. Project MS and the rational use of resources. Techniques of Internet browsing.

Frontal lessons and laboratory lessons (computer room).
Assessment methods and criteria
The final assessment is composed by a practical simulation on pc, applying procedures on selected softwares.
Tha practical simulation, if passed, is completed by and oral commentary of the precious test and questions on procedures .

Computer room with 50 pcs, videoprojector and teacher's pc.
