Integrated course unit module: HEMATOLOGIC AND INFECTIVE DISEASES

Learning objectives

 Students must have a knowledge of the examination methods of the hepatic parenchyma, of their indications and of any possible complications related to them. In addition, they must have a knowledge of the etiology and the clinical-laboratory parameters as well as of the main factors which could change the evolution of viral hepatitis. Learn the staging and grading criteria for chronic hepatitis and be able to describe the anatomo-pathological pictures.<br />They are expected to recognise the morphological modifications caused by the main hematological diseases, be able to consider differential diagnoses and understand the role of the anatomo-pathological diagnosis on a clinical level.
