Learning objectives

The course covers the topics of international Law that are not included in the Fundamentals of International Law programme of the three-year first degree course (unit awarding 3 university credits) and a particular sector of international Law: the international protection of basic human rights (unit awarding 6 university credits). Students that have to sit the International Law examination awarding 9 university credits prepare both units.

Teaching methods

During the course, exercises in the examination of practical cases will be organized. Some seminar meetings will be held by professors from other universities and specially invited international officials. The examinations take place through a preliminary oral exam to ascertain the candidates' knowledge on the topics that are the subject of the programme. <br />
