Learning objectives

<br /><br />To furnish a method to the students to face the problems of the profession using the methods that computer science makes available. <br />To teach the use of the programs of base and the management of the projects.

Course unit content

<br />Fundamental hardware concepts. Concepts on the programming languages and on the operational systems. Applications programs (spreadsheet) with reference there am where the opportunity of it e/o the necessity, to concepts of elementary descriptive statistic also through the use of the program S.P.S.S. <br />Data base: MS Access <br />The HTML language and the style sheets. <br />The word processing and the layout. The style sheets in Word. <br />Preparation of the model of a relationship with the use of Word, Excel and Access.   <br />  <br />Planning of the activities of a project of job or search: MS Project  <br /><br />Adobe (acrobat) Reader and Adobe Professional (program to create PDF files) or PDF995 (similar to Adobe Professional): Employment and transformation of Word documents (or similar) to PDF format. <br />HTML in the transfer of the files among different operating systems. <br />Planning of  activities of a project of job or research. The problems of the communication: PDF, safety, cryptography.
