Course unit content
Bioethics, Medical Ethics and Law: principles and general aspects. Health
professionals in National Health Service: the Acoustic-aid technician. General
aspects of Criminal Law: the Crime, the legal position of health
professional, health related crimes. When the health professional is
obliged to refer to justice organization. Medical files and certification.
General aspects of Civil Law and legal capacity. Privacy and respect for
personal informations. Informed consent. General aspects of professional
liability. National Health Service: legal evolution and current organization.
Social Security System: National Insurance and Welfare System with
particular reference to hearing loss.
