Occupational diseases and their prevention: history. Legislation on safety, health and protection in the workplace. Work related diseases, manual handling, manual handling of patients. Work-related stress. Organization of shift and night work. Risk of upper limb biomechanical overload, repetitive movements. Mechanical vibrations. Measurement, effects, prevention. Office work: legislation, risk prevention. Health care risks. Biohazard. The occupational dermatitis. The personal protective equipment.

General epidemiology and prevention of the infectious diseases
The sources of infection, transmission modality. Favoring factors the appearance of infections.
Ways of appearance of the infections in the population. Preventive medicine. The purposes and the
methods of the prevention. Levels of preventive participation. The prevention of the infections;
discovered and inactivation of infection sources, interruption of the transmission chains; increase of
resistance to the infections.
General principles of prevention of not infectious disease Tertiary, secondary, primary prevention.
Prevention of the transmissible infections with the blood (HBV, HDV, HCV,HIV)
Hospital Infections. Hygiene of the environment
