Learning objectives

<p>The present course will be effective in developping advanced knowledges about the different theoretical perspectives together with classifications and paradigms of analysis contributing to the increase of theoretica analysis and methological planning within specific fields of research (e.g.: eyewitness, post event information on consumer memory, relations between memory and emotion). </p>

Prerequisites

Knowledge about some of the primary psychological approaches and methological paradigms used within the field of the experimental psychology. Base knowledge of physiology, anatomy and biology

Course unit content

<p> The primary aim of the course is promoting a wide perspective about the scientific inestigation on larning and memory processes through the different theoretical models and methological paradigms. Learning and memory processes will be examined referring to the factors and mechanisms involved together with their relations with other basic processes (e.g.: motivation, language and emotion) and  explicit reference to theories and concepts widely accepted within the field of experimental and applied psychology. Modifications occurring during typical and pathologica development  will be also considered. The field with much attention is that of everyday memory, and thus students can be able to practice the principal theoretical perspectives, classifications and analysis paradigms, and to develop analysis abilities within specific fields of research (e.g.: eyewitness, post-event information on consumer memory, relations between memory and emotion.</p>
