Learning objectives
The main aim of the course is to demonstrate the use of tools designed to perform statistical analyses. Among the various application softwares available, the Excel spreadsheet has been chosen as it is the simplest and most widely used. <br />
Prerequisites

For this course, students need to have elementary knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and basic knowledge of statistics
Course unit content
<br />The goal of the course is to teach students how to use Excel spreadsheets to deal with the following topics: <br />
<br />
* descriptive statistics <br />
* inference (z-score, t-test, Chi square and F-test) <br />
* Linear regression
