Course unit content
<br />The Course presents and analyses the different instruction “systems” that have developed since the very first systematic studies were carried out on programmed instruction and teaching machines. Particular attention is paid to common assumptions, in terms of the philosophy of the science of education, and basic methods, in terms of validity and reliability criteria for the measurement and assessment of efficacy. Specific PSI (personalised System of Instruction), DI (Direct Instruction) and PT (Precision Teaching) applications will then be examined in different learning contexts and contents.
