Learning objectives
To achieve an advanced knowledge about the sensory, motor and cognitive aspects of the nervous system and to achieve a basic knowledge of neuropsychology.
Prerequisites
To have followed a basic course of neuroscience.
Course unit content
<br />Organization of the motor system and sensorimotor transformation. Visual perception. Motor and cognitive aspects of cerebellum and basal ganglia. Neurophysiological and neuropsychological bases of language, praxis, attention and space. Hemispheric specialization. Neurobiological bases of learning and memory. Plasticity of the nervous system. Emotions and limbic system.
