Learning objectives

The purpose of the laboratory is to provide the student knowledge on methodology and application frameworks that characterize energy, its uses, costs and efficiencies of conversion processes and the consequent impacts on the environment.

The Laboratory aims to analyse, using different teaching tools, basic solutions and technologies related to Energy Generation and Management, with particular reference to cost and efficiencies of conversion processes, and to environmental impact.

Teaching methods

The course deals with themes that characterize Energy and its Management: within this framework, each student has to deepen a specific issue, through both bibliographic research and quantitative evaluations related to costs, efficiencies and environmental impacts.

Assessment methods and criteria

Preparation and discussion of a final report on the activities described in the course.
