Learning objectives

GOALS:  Search for the causes of juvenile criminality through concrete analysis of reality and the adequacy of legislation for containing the phenomenon.

Course unit content

<br />CONTENTS:  The course will cover the outlines of juvenile criminal justice, with reference to substantive and process issues, and will give particular attention to the juvenile offender, the juvenile punishment system, crime prevention and juvenile criminal proceedings. The course will also analyse the legal framework for the protection of minors from assault and battery, abuse and sexual exploitation.
