Integrated course unit module: QUALITY AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT

Learning objectives

To provide the basis for applying Quality, Safety and Maintenance Management in Industry.

Prerequisites

Basic concepts of Statistics and the Theory of Reliability.

Course unit content

 Maintenance Management. Techniques for evaluating break down events: FTA, FMECA, HAZOP. Maintenance of industrial installations and the culture of maintenance. Management of spare parts. The units of measure for maintenance system services. Types of maintenance: incidental, programmed, ameliorative. <br />
Maintenance engineering and maintenance outsourcing of industrial installations. Global service. Management of spare parts. CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). <br />

Concepts and examples of the application of Design of Experiment. Management systems of Safety and Health in the Workplace (SGSL). Concepts and examples of the application of Machinery Instructions. HACCP plan for food risk management in the industry. <br />
