Learning objectives

The aim of the teaching programme is to illustrate the Italian and Community system of business contract law, with attention being focussed on vertical distribution relations and on relations of the end market. The first unit will analyse the new principles regarding contracts, rules and regulations governing Italian and Community competition and Community provisions on vertical agreements, the category of distribution contracts, the law on sub-supply and on delay in payments in business relations. The second unit will deal with consumer contracts, remote negotiations, sale of consumer goods and the rules and regulations governing manufacturer liability. The third unit will study supply, agency, sales rights, franchising. <br />
